Inflammation of the pancreas, or pancreatitis, is a very serious pathology. Most often it develops in adults, especially if they have bad habits or are overweight. It is necessary to begin treatment of the disease as early as possible to avoid worsening the condition and complications. In the acute form of pancreatitis, therapy must be carried out in a hospital, since the inflammatory process is often accompanied by the breakdown of pancreatic tissue, which can lead to shock, sepsis or even death of the patient.
But the chronic form of the disease, which is a fairly common pathology, can be treated at home. At the same time, in addition to traditional treatment, traditional methods are often used. They help alleviate the patient’s condition and reduce the frequency and severity of exacerbations. But they can only be used after consulting a doctor.
Treatment of pancreatitis with a miracle plant for the pancreas
Cryphaea is a special, rather rare type of moss that grows on the trunks of some trees: fir, pine, birch, poplar, beech.
In folk medicine, two types of kryphea are used:
- Kripheya Amurskaya, whose homeland is the regions of the Far East: Khabarovsk Territory and Amur Region. This species is listed in the Red Book.
- Kryphea Multidirectional is a representative of the subtropical flora. It grows in the Caucasus, the Balkan Peninsula, the Krasnodar Territory and Turkey.
It is very difficult to find kryphea in the forest; it is listed in the Russian Red Book as a rare endangered plant.
It is difficult to find kryphea on pharmacy shelves. But in Antalya there are special neighborhoods where you can find this rare plant in small shops of local healers and herbalists. To treat pancreatitis, it is used in dry crushed form or in the form of infusions and decoctions.
Pharmacological action of kryphea
Krifea is an effective remedy for the treatment of pancreatitis, ulcers and other diseases of the digestive system. This is due to the unique healing substance s-methylmethionine contained in the plant. Its properties include the ability to normalize the acid balance of the gastrointestinal tract and increase regeneration processes.
The use of tincture of cryphea has a beneficial effect on the secretory functions of the pancreas: the production of insulin, digestive enzymes - lipase, amylase, protease, which help improve the digestion process.
Its regular use helps relieve attacks of nausea and pain. In addition, the plant helps relieve symptoms of asthma and allergies. Kryphaea does not cause side effects such as decreased concentration or drowsiness.
Kryphaea is recommended for therapy in the following cases:
- Pancreatitis, both chronic and acute;
- Hay fever;
- Secretory insufficiency of the pancreas;
- Gastritis of the stomach;
- Ulcerative and inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, gall bladder;
- Diabetes mellitus;
- Allergies;
- Asthma.
Method of using alcohol tincture: 20 drops three times a day, about half an hour before meals. The course of treatment is three months, after which a thirty-day break is taken. Therapy, if necessary, is repeated three to four times a year.
Efficacy of cryphea in chronic pancreatitis
The therapeutic effect of cryphaea is noticeable after regular two-week use of the drug. There is a general feeling of well-being and a retreat of pain attacks. But it is not enough to achieve a noticeable improvement in the condition; it is still important to maintain it. This means maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which consists of following a special diet - avoiding fatty, smoked, spicy foods, as well as no alcohol or carbonated drinks. And, of course, it is important to complete a full course of treatment lasting at least three months, since chronic diseases cannot be cured within a few weeks. This will require persistence and patience. Only by following these rules can positive results be achieved in the treatment of chronic pancreatitis.
Where can I buy?
Cryphea is not cheap - 250 milliliters of tincture costs about 6,000 rubles. But this volume is designed for 2-3 months, that is, for one course of treatment. Find out where you can buy kryphea.
A few words about the disease
Chronic pancreatitis is a disease in which inflammatory processes occur in the tissues of the pancreas for 3 months or more. As a rule, the chronic form of the disease is a consequence of improper treatment or undertreated acute pancreatitis, which develops as a result of:
- poor nutrition;
- alcohol abuse;
- smoking;
- long-term and inappropriate use of various medications;
- development of other diseases of the digestive system (cholelithiasis, gastritis, stomach ulcers, etc.).
With the development of pancreatitis, the pancreatic tissue becomes inflamed and swollen, which leads to a narrowing of the ducts of the organ and disruption of the process of releasing pancreatic juice from it, which contains enzymes that perform a digestive function. As a result, the juice stagnates inside the pancreas, digesting its cells, which causes parenchymal changes - the gland tissues are damaged, thickened or, conversely, depleted, and the cells cease to perform their functions.
Damaged pancreatic cells do not have the ability to self-regenerate, so it is impossible to completely cure pancreatitis. Patients with this disease are forced to constantly take enzyme preparations in order to compensate for the deficiency of digestive enzymes and normalize the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. If they are not taken, this increases the load on the organ, which leads to even greater inflammation and damage, resulting in complete dysfunction of the gland and the development of necrotic processes in it.
However, in addition to medications, it is also recommended to use folk remedies for the treatment of pancreas. They effectively eliminate inflammatory processes, help relieve pain and normalize digestion. But alternative medicine can be used only after the approval of the attending physician.
To ensure that pancreatitis is treated as effectively as possible, you must follow all your doctor’s recommendations.
Treatment of pancreatitis with chicory
Treatment of pancreatitis with chicory is one of the effective methods of combating acute and chronic inflammation of the pancreas. Regular consumption of chicory will help get rid of bloating, loose stools and flatulence. Eating food will no longer cause a feeling of heaviness, and the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract will normalize.
A drink based on chicory is a storehouse of substances beneficial to the human body, including:
- B vitamins: B1, B2, B3;
- Vitamin C;
- Pectin;
- Useful resins;
- Carotene;
- Macro and microelements: potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, etc.
Chicory contains inulin, and its percentage can reach 75%. It is inulin that is of primary importance in normalizing the functioning of the digestive system.
Effects that can be achieved through regular consumption of chicory:
- Relieve inflammation from the pancreas.
- Normalize blood sugar levels.
- Normalize blood pressure.
- Improve metabolism.
- Get rid of diarrhea and flatulence.
Recipe.
For treatment you will need regular ground chicory, without any additives. You can drink it instead of tea, after or before each meal. This natural medicine not only does not contain any chemical additives, but also has an excellent taste. Therefore, most people suffering from inflammation of the pancreas will like this treatment.
You can drink chicory in its pure form, replacing coffee with it. A teaspoon of powder is enough for one glass.
If you don’t really like the taste of chicory, you can prepare one of the following medicinal drinks:
- Brew fresh tea, add a little milk and half a teaspoon of chicory to a glass. If desired, the drink can be slightly sweetened. Mix all ingredients and drink before your next meal.
- For a glass of boiling water you will need a teaspoon of cocoa, a teaspoon of milk powder and 1/2 teaspoon of chicory. All components are mixed and infused for several minutes.
In addition to improving overall well-being and normalizing bowel movements, regular consumption of chicory helps normalize blood pressure. The drink helps reduce high blood pressure levels and increase low blood pressure. Therefore, both hypertensive and hypotensive patients should drink chicory.
Useful tips.
It is necessary to take into account that it will not be possible to get rid of problems with the pancreas using chicory alone. You will definitely need to follow a diet. Otherwise, all efforts will be in vain.
It is best to drink chicory before meals, which will prepare the body for food intake and will stimulate the pancreas to produce the necessary enzymes.
You should drink chicory on a regular basis. Periodic consumption of the drink will bring only temporary relief, and it will be possible to achieve a stable improvement in well-being only thanks to the regular presence of chicory on the table.

Black cumin is useful for pancreatitis and cancer
According to scientists from the Kimmel Cancer Center (USA), black cumin (Nigella sativa) destroys pancreatic cancer cells. This selective effect is due to the anti-inflammatory properties of the plant.
An extract is prepared from the seeds of black cumin, which grows in the Middle East. Its main component, thymoquinone, helps reduce the concentration of mediators that trigger the inflammatory process in the tumor. Such conclusions were reached by H. Arafat, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery at T. Jefferson University.
In an experimental group of animals suffering from pancreatic tumors, treatment with thymoquinone showed a decrease in tumor size (by 67%), a decrease in the concentration of cytokines that provoke inflammation in tissues affected by cancer.
The inflammatory process can be a symptom of several types of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer can be a consequence of chronic pancreatitis of hereditary and sporadic etiology.
Scientist and doctor H. Arafat claims that innovative research gives hope for a successful recovery not only for patients suffering from chronic pancreatitis, but also for everyone who fears the disease will progress to oncological pathology or cancer relapse. This is a category of postoperative patients and people with a hereditary predisposition. “The pronounced effect of the use of black cumin allows the plant extract to be used for the prevention and treatment of oncological processes in the pancreas,” says the scientist. “The most important thing is the complete safety of black cumin and the oil obtained from it, proven over thousands of years, use without side effects.”

Kvass on celandine according to Bolotov
Kvass, created according to the recipe of the scientist B.V. Bolotov, is a medicinal product prepared from whey, celandine and sugar. It has anti-inflammatory and cleansing properties. The celandine contained in the composition contains a lot of useful substances: essential oils, flavonoids, vitamins, organic acids, saponins, bitterness, about 20 alkaloids - toxic compounds that, under the influence of serum enzymes, undergo a fermentation process and are transformed into useful substances.
Kvass has a bactericidal effect, it destroys the pathogenic environment and promotes the renewal of tissues of the gastrointestinal tract, blocks inflammation, and eliminates pain. It is used with great success to treat prolonged chronic pancreatitis. In addition to its beneficial effects on the digestive system, its positive effect is invaluable in cases of nervous disorders, heart ailments, dysbacteriosis, skin diseases, tuberculosis, and myopia. The ability to renew cells and suppress the development of pathogens allows Bolotov’s kvass to be used for the treatment of oncology, increasing immunity, and healing wounds and ulcers.
Kvass recipe
A properly prepared drink has a pleasant taste and a bitter-sour smell, reminiscent of grapefruit and apple.
Ingredients for kvass:
- Whey or purified water - three liters.
- Natural sour cream no more than 15% fat - one teaspoon.
- Granulated sugar - one glass.
- Dry celandine herb – 25 grams (half a glass) or a glass of fresh herb.
Pour whey (water) into a three-liter jar, add sugar and sour cream. Place the celandine herb in a gauze bag folded in three or four layers (the gauze must be sterile), where a load is placed, for example, made of stone, glass or stainless steel; any cutlery can do. The bag with the weight and grass is tightly tied and dropped to the bottom of the jar. The neck of the jar should be covered with gauze, secured and put in a dark, warm place. Kvass takes 14 days to prepare, during which mold should be removed from its surface daily and stirred.
On the fifth day, when sediment appears at the bottom of the dish (it is thrown away), the top layer of kvass is poured into another three-liter jar, a bag of grass is transferred there and water is added to the brim. After the tenth day, the drink begins to foam; this is a normal reaction of properly prepared kvass. On the fifteenth day, a liter of the finished infusion is poured from the jar, it is put in a cool place for consumption, and water or whey is added to the remaining kvass to bring it to the previous volume.
In this way, the drink can be diluted four times. Next, fresh kvass is prepared according to the same procedure, having previously washed the container where the fresh product will be placed.
Method of treatment
Treatment of pancreatitis begins with a minimum dosage - a tablespoon three times a day 30 minutes before meals. If no negative effects in the form of bradycardia, nausea, or allergic reactions are observed within seven days, you can increase the dosage to one hundred milliliters three times a day and continue to drink the drink for another three weeks. To consolidate the results of treatment, it is recommended to extend the use of kvass for another month, taking half a glass once a day. This method of treatment helps to get rid of acute pain and nausea.
Basic recommendations for the use of alternative medicine
Before talking about how chronic pancreatitis is treated at home, it is necessary to say a few words about the rules for using non-traditional remedies. Traditional medicine offers a huge number of recipes for preparing various medicines at home that will help get rid of pain in the pancreas and normalize digestive processes. And most of them involve the use of various herbs that have anti-inflammatory, stimulating, analgesic and regenerating effects.
Herbs for the treatment of pancreatitis can be purchased at the pharmacy. But healers recommend, if possible, collecting them yourself. But not near roads and highways, because in these places they are saturated with exhaust gases and other harmful substances that can only aggravate the course of the disease. The most suitable areas for collecting herbs are swampy areas, forests and plantings.
If the herbs are being prepared for future use, they should be thoroughly dried and ground into flour using a coffee grinder, and then transferred to a clean glass container. Herbs should be stored in a dry place.
At the same time, all infusions and decoctions that are prepared from herbs for the treatment of pancreatitis must be consumed only in freshly prepared form, unless the recipe itself indicates that the product can be divided into several parts and consumed during the day.
In addition, infusions and decoctions must be consumed warm. Hot and cold drinks are contraindicated for pancreatitis, as they irritate the pancreatic mucosa and can provoke an exacerbation of the disease.
Basics of nutrition for chronic pancreatitis
But if you decide to treat pancreatitis with folk remedies, you should not forget about the diet. Compliance with it is an important point in the treatment of this disease.
Remember that the diet completely excludes the following foods from the diet:
Treatment of acute pancreatitis at home
- fatty and fried foods;
- pickles and smoked meats;
- semi-finished products;
- sausages, sausages and wieners;
- packaged store-bought juices;
- fast food;
- carbonated and alcoholic drinks;
- coffee and cocoa;
- baked goods;
- chocolate and confectionery.
If a person does not take a responsible approach to his diet, then no alternative medicine, even the most effective, will help him avoid exacerbations of pancreatitis and the development of complications associated with it.
Brussels sprouts juice according to N.V.’s recipe Walker for pancreatitis and diabetes
N.V. Walker is an American doctor who is a proponent of a diet based on the consumption of fresh vegetable juices. He himself adhered to such a diet and a healthy lifestyle and lived to be almost a hundred years old. It was Walker who, in the process of research, identified the optimal combination of vegetables, the juices of which have a healing effect on the pancreas.
These vegetables include:
- Brussels sprouts;
- Carrot;
- Lettuce leaves;
- Green beans.
The combination of juices from the above vegetables is used to restore the exocrine and intrasecretory functions of the pancreas, to treat diabetes mellitus and pancreatitis.
Recipe and method of use:
The components (Brussels sprouts, lettuce, carrots and green beans) taken in equal quantities must be passed through a juicer. Drink half a glass of juice in the morning before meals. The treatment process is based on following a low-carbohydrate diet, eliminating starch and sugar from food and regularly cleansing the intestines with an enema. The course of therapy is 30 days, after which it should be interrupted for two weeks. If necessary, treatment is continued after a two-week break.
Oat infusion
This cereal is of particular importance in the case of pancreatic diseases. Ordinary oatmeal with water without salt and oil is included in the list of mandatory dietary dishes in case of dysfunction of this organ. Of course, constantly eating oatmeal gets boring pretty quickly, so for a change you can easily prepare a concentrated medicinal infusion from oats. You just need to pour 0.5 kilograms of oatmeal with a liter of boiling water and let it brew for one hour. Then the infusion is filtered and taken half a glass three times a day.
Treatment of pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer with hericium fungus
Hericium combinatum, also known as blackberry mushroom, is a real boon in the treatment of oncology. A huge mushroom, reaching a diameter of forty centimeters, grows on rotten stumps and tree trunks. In appearance, the mushroom resembles a yellow fluffy hedgehog with soft and long needles, hence the name blackberry.
Eastern medicine has long used the healing properties of hericium to treat impotence, nervous disorders, insomnia, Alzheimer's disease, sclerosis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and gynecological diseases. Today it is used to treat cancer of the blood, oral cavity, brain, skin, liver, pancreas and other organs of the digestive system in combination with chemotherapy or as an independent method of treatment.
Its healing properties are due to the rare polysaccharides it contains, such as beta-glucans, as well as YA-2 fatty acids and phenols, which can significantly enhance the effect of chemotherapy.
In Japan, cancer cells were implanted into mice in laboratory conditions, and then the resulting tumor was treated with hericium. As a result, the cancerous formations stopped growing and developing, and in some cases decreased in size.
