The drug is prescribed together with azithromycin, metronidazole, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin. Treatment lasts 1 week. If the patient does not feel better, the course is extended for another 7 days.
Solution
The solution must be administered intravenously only when taking the medication by mouth becomes unavailable.
For long-term treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions, the daily dosage at the beginning of therapy should be at least 80 mg.
