De-Nol belongs to the drugs that affect the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. Produced in the Netherlands. The drug has no synonyms, but there are many analogues according to the mechanism of action that can replace De-Nol if it is intolerant.
A medicine based on bismuth tripotassium dicitrate is produced in the form of round, biconvex tablets for internal use. It has gastroprotective, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.

Indications for its use are disorders of the gastrointestinal tract:

The drug "Ulkavis"
The drug was created for the treatment of gastritis, stomach ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. After taking the pills, a protective layer is formed in the stomach. It protects the mucous membrane from the negative influence of an unfavorable environment.
Additionally, the drug provides an antibacterial effect. Thanks to this, Helicobacter pylori infections are destroyed. Active components eliminate pathogenic bacteria by destroying their enzyme system.
The drug also blocks the development of inflammatory processes and has regenerative properties. The duration of therapy is quite long. The average course is at least 2 months.

- dyspeptic disorders;
- gastritis.
It should be used with caution with other drugs containing bismuth, since in this case its concentration in the blood increases and the risk of developing encephalopathy increases. A peculiarity of the use of Vikair is the appearance of black stool and increased frequency of stools after taking it. Pregnancy and lactation are a direct contraindication for use.
Novobismol
The medication belongs to the group of intestinal antiseptic and astringent agents. Release form: tablets. The main active component is bismuth tripotassium dicitrate, which protects the mucous membrane of the digestive tract from destruction, maintaining its integrity. It has a pronounced bactericidal and anti-Helicobacter effect.
Features of the drug use
In the presence of erosions and ulcers, it forms films on their surface. In pediatric practice, it is indicated for children from 8 years of age. Prescribed 2 tablets twice a day. Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Compatible with most medications.
Ranitidine
The most famous medication from the group of H2-histamine receptor blockers. The mechanism of its action is based on the regulation of the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, as a result of which favorable conditions are created for the healing of ulcers and erosions. It is available not only in tablet form, but also in injection form. The main active ingredient is ranitidine hydrochloride. Taken in an average daily dose of 300 mg - 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Is it possible to take Ulcavis and De-Nol at the same time?
It is strictly forbidden to combine these medications. Both drugs have the same composition and active substance, therefore they are considered analogues.
