Usually this crisis does not last long: no more than 2-3 days, however, it is at this stage that it is important to take the first measures to improve your health. We are talking not only about medications, but also about compliance with nutritional rules: the patient is not allowed to eat these days, he is shown absolute fasting, only drinking plain water or chamomile decoction is permissible, but in small quantities. This need is associated with the critical condition of the pancreas, which needs to ensure complete rest in order to be able to restore its function. Since any food stimulates its activity, forcing the production of enzymes for its breakdown, the very need to abstain from food arises. That is why neither an omelet, even a white and steamed one, nor any other products are acceptable at this stage.
